Sleep

Getting quality sleep can be a challenge when undergoing cancer treatment. Insomnia, defined as not being able to fall asleep or stay asleep, is very common in individuals with cancer. This can be due to many reasons, including side effects from medication, stress, anxiety, or pain. There are several things you can do to improve your sleep, such as powering down electronics at least an hour before bed, keeping bedtime rituals, and cooling down your bedroom to between 65-72 degrees.
