Stress
Having a disease, such as cancer, can often be one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life. For many, trying to balance a cancer diagnosis with the additional demands of life, family, work, and even finances, can prove to be especially draining. All of this can take a toll on a person’s well-being and lead to additional health concerns. Below are a few suggestions for helping to better handle the additional stress cancer can bring.
- Try journaling thoughts, feelings, or ideas.
- Connect with loved ones or a support group.
- Read a new book or watch a TV show.
