Ingredients

  • 1 lb Raw Carrots, peeled and sliced into ½” pieces (wash under cold running water before peeling)
  • 1½ Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ Tsp Turmeric
  • ½ Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar, packed
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  • 1.

    Wash Hands Wash hands with soap and water.

  • 2.

    Preheat Oven and Line Baking Sheet Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • 3.

    Mix Spices In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and brown sugar.

  • 4.

    Coat Carrots Place the sliced carrots in a large bowl. Pour the spice mixture over the carrots and mix until the carrots are evenly coated.

  • 5.

    Spread Carrots and Bake Spread carrots onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes or until tender.

  • 6.

    Season and Enjoy Top with a sprinkle of salt and enjoy!

  • 7.

    Wash Hands Wash hands with soap and water.
